How We Show Up
In The S.M.I.L.E. Zone
The S.M.I.L.E. Zone is a community of athletes, parents, coaches, and mentors who choose to grow together. These guidelines protect that environment so every member can keep showing up.
1. Our Values
- Respect — every member, regardless of age, background, or skill level.
- Growth — show up to learn, not just to perform.
- Accountability — own your effort, your tone, and your reactions.
- Positivity — lift the room. Celebrate teammates and competitors.
- Support — protect this community like it's your team — because it is.
2. What We Don't Tolerate
- Bullying, threats, or intimidation of any member.
- Harassment based on race, gender, religion, orientation, ability, or background.
- Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory content.
- Inappropriate, sexual, or violent content of any kind.
- Solicitation, recruiting members to outside programs, or selling unrelated products.
- Spam, repeated promotional posts, or off-topic flooding.
- Doxxing, sharing private information, or screenshotting private conversations.
- Impersonation of coaches, mentors, staff, or other members.
3. Minor Protection
The community includes youth athletes. Adult members and coaches must:
- Keep all interactions with minors inside the platform, in spaces with oversight.
- Never request or share personal contact information with a minor.
- Report any inappropriate behavior toward a minor to staff immediately.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate alongside their athlete and to contact us at any time with concerns.
4. Posting Standards
- Keep posts on-topic, constructive, and aligned with the value of the channel.
- Critique ideas and performance, not people.
- Cite sources when sharing research, stats, or quotes.
- Use original content or content you have rights to share.
5. Enforcement
Violations are reviewed at our sole discretion and may result in warnings, content removal, suspension, or permanent removal from the community. Termination for a violation does not entitle the member to a refund.
6. Reporting
If you see something that does not belong here, please report it to a coach, moderator, or email hello@smilezone.app. Reports are handled confidentially.
By participating in The S.M.I.L.E. Zone community, you agree to follow these guidelines and to our Terms & Conditions.
